Packing Tips For A Weekend Trip

Hi friends,

Thank you guys so much for visiting my blog again. I wanted to share some of the things that I do when taking a weekend trip ( in this instance, I went to Toronto) —  of course you can incorporate these methods into longer stays.

The biggest tip that I can give you is to pack less and pack pieces that have multiple uses. I love packing neutral colors for this exact reason — I can wear a black shirt with jeans or leggings and no one can tell if I’ve worn the same top the day before.

Also, don’t pack too many shoes — they take up way too much space. I used to do this all of the time and I never ended up wearing half of them. I have a very vivid memory of being around 12-years-old and going on a trip with my parents. I packed a whole separate suitcase full of shoes, I think there were 10 shoes/sandals in that bag. Needless to say, I didn’t end up wearing them. Pack shoes that are comfortable and that you can wear out if you have to dress up.

Here are some of the packing cubes that I used:

As far as a suitcase, I love using a hard case one. It keeps everything in place while still maintaining its shape.

I hope these tips are helpful for you. If you have any questions or any tips for me, please comment below. I’d love to hear from you.
